Using the driver Windows Driver 3.2.4 - (nostromo607.exe) works on Windows 8.1 - 64bits. The extra keys (11-15) I found useful but not necessary. For better or worse, I mapped my d-pad to WSAD. I own both an n50 and an n52, and the n50 is adequate but the n52 is better in several ways, most notably for me in the d-pad feel and durability.
